Jewry “The Empress” Rodriguez began her boxing journey at just 10 years old, watching her father train her four older brothers in the family’s two-car garage. What started as curiosity quickly became a lifelong calling after she asked if she could join them, despite early resistance that boxing “wasn’t for girls.” 14 years later, Rodriguez built a dominant amateur legacy with 12 National Championships and four international medals (two gold, two bronze) earned against top global competition.
Recognized as Team Boxing League Female Rookie of the Year, she officially launched her professional career in 2026 with a decisive second-round TKO, announcing her arrival on the pro stage. For Rodriguez, boxing is more than a sport, it is her art, her discipline, and her testimony.
